If anyone has information regarding serial numbers, it would be much appreciated.
He passed away in 1954 and for the past 67 years both this Tavannes and his Benrus Flex-Curve art Deco-style dress watch have been sitting in a jewelry box in our family home ever since. The beautiful cases and dials dont hurt either. 1940’s TAVANNES Chronograph Venus 175 bicolor dial watch This was my dad’s watch that he bought new in the early 1940s. The quality of the movements and relative lack of demand make this manufacturer very attractive. I recently became interested in Cyma Tavannes.
