#NVIVO CLOUD PRO#
This feature is available in NVivo Pro and Plus editions. If necessary you can edit further in NVivo Audio and video transcripts. Open the media file in NVivo to see the transcript. The transcript is imported and embedded as the transcript of the media file. Return to the NVivo Transcription dialog box in NVivo and click Import. (See directions for the editor in the Transcription Help, here.) When transcription is finished click Review transcript to open the transcript in the web editor (the first time you do this you may need to log into your myNVivo account again).Įdit the transcript using the web editor, making corrections as necessary and optionally adding speaker names. When the files have uploaded select the language being spoken in each, then click Transcribe. The minutes of transcription time available are shown at the top of the dialog box (refreshed every five minutes). NOTE You can populate the Transcription dialog box before you open it-open a media file that you want to transcribe before opening the dialog box, or right-clickthe file in the List View and select NVivo Transcription. Transcripts ordered from within NVivo are automatically downloaded to an NVivo project once they have been reviewed, while transcripts from the online portal must be downloaded. Audio files can also be uploaded directly to an online portal. NVivo Transcription is an automated service to transcribe media files (audio and video) from within NVivo.
It allows you to send media files for transcription directly from (Undefined variable: Primary.NVivo), returning the transcripts embedded with the media files they were created from Audio and video files (but see exceptions to integration with NVivo 12 below). NVivo Transcription is an automated, cloud-based transcription service integrated into NVivo 12.
